After visiting the museum I decided to take a break from history and do some natural sightseeing. The Bhadbhada Dam Bhopal seemed like a good option.
While travelling it is really important to visit some natural points of the place.
The Dam was amazing sight, though it was crowded by locals and tourist alike the cool breeze blowing from the dam really refreshed me. The place was filled with all kinds of people be it youngsters, couples, families and kids.
It is considered to be a great refreshing spot among the locals. One of the main reasons this place is a hit among the people is due to the calming cool breeze and the soothing effect of flowing water.
Away from the pollution and the hustle bustle of the city, this serene atmosphere makes people forget every little tension and trouble they may have in their lives.
It had been just 10 mins since I reached there, but I began to notice how relax and calm I was feeling. But like all goods there is negative side
to this to.
The only downside about the dam was that due to the human presence there has been great damage and contamination. There was garbage in the surrounding area of the dam and the dwellers which lived on the banks of the dam created several hygiene problems.
But upon speaking with the locals they told me that there have been several arrangements made by the government to keep the uniqueness of the place maintained. Also there were many people who were concerned about maintaining the beauty of the place and were seen using paper and cloth bags instead of using plastic ones. There was also a small camp going on to create awareness about maintaining the dam.
Though it man-made it is no less enthralling. The water and the breeze were natural though and they really created a smoothing atmosphere.
