Once I told my friends that I was visiting Bhopal, they all started suggesting places which I should definitely visit. The Sadar Manzil was one of the most recommended places.
I wondered what was so famous about the place, as so many people were suggesting it. I decided to check it out and see what is so special about the place.
Upon inquiring at the front desk, I knew that the place was close to the hotel and I could easily reach it. So I hailed an auto rickshaw from outside my hotel and a 15 minute ride later I was at the Sadar Manzil.
The place was indeed beautiful, looking at the Asian and Western styles of architecture which quite different from the rest of the structure which usually have traditional Islamic architecture.
In the earlier days the Sadar Manzil was
known to be Hall of Public Audience mainly during the princely period. This brick-red structure has a grandiose appearance, and is surrounded by lush green garden which give the place a post card
effect. It definitely made amazing background in my pictures.
The place is filled with a number of intricately carved arches on the roof of the Sardar Manzil, the along with the reddish stone structure of the building gives it a unique look. The outside gardens of this place are filled with exotic floral patterns which gives the place a luxurious feel.
One of the things which really caught my attention was the several tourism advertisement placed on the walls of the Sardar Manzil. I was thoroughly impressed as these advertisements of the Madhya Pradesh tourism were designed in such a way that they easily drew my attention. Most of them had an artistic edge to it which was very impressive.
After strolling at the Sardar Manzil for an hour I decided to head back to the hotel. I was really impressed with the beauty and architecture of the Sardar Manzil. I was really glad that my friends recommended it. It was really worth visiting and I thanked the people who recommended it to me.
