Experiencing the Rajput lifestyle at Hotel Bhanwar Niwas Bikaner

As soon as I was out of the railway station, I booked a cab to take me to Hotel Bhanwar Niwas Bikaner. Being at a distance of only 1 kilometre from the railway station, I reached the hotel in no time and by 10.15PM, I was in my room after the check-in procedures and formalities.

The structure of the hotel looks more like a Rajput palace than a hotel. I completely fell in love with the place because being night-time the outside of the hotel, well lit with lights, looked very warm and welcoming. It felt like I was walking into a royal palace!

The lobby did not have the usual leather seats and expensive modern furnishings. Instead, there were traditional chairs and settees and the walls decorated in the Rajasthani style. It looked like I had walked into the court of a king! The entire hotel had the royal and the traditional Rajasthani look, but it offered all the modern facilities of Air-condition, Television, Direct telephone service and even safe deposits.

The hotel had 24 rooms in total and I chose the standard room instead of the deluxe room. It had all the basic facilities along with good interiors. During my stay at the hotel, the staff provided all the assistance and advice concerning sightseeing and visits to various places around Bikaner.

Whenever I travel to a place and book a hotel room, I ensure that there is a decent place to have food. I was extremely happy with this hotel since it had an in-house multi-cuisine restaurant that offered delicious meals and accommodated my special requests for room services when I was too tired to walk down to the restaurant. The restaurant staff suggested their special dishes each day and it would not be an exaggeration if I said that I ate as if I was forever hungry!

The specialty food of Hotel Bhanwar Niwas Bikaner was definitely the Rajasthani cuisine. Additionally, having a peaceful and a sound sleep on the plush and clean bed added to the joy of the entire journey. This is exactly my version of lodging in style and comfort!
