Hello friends! This time I am back with the experience of my visit to Bikaner. I booked a ticket with Spicejet Airlines for Monday at 7.35 am to take me to Jaipur. Anyone looking to travel luxuriously should fly with this airline. It offers unbeatable ticket prices and unmatched
I reached the IGI Airport at 6.00 am, checked into the airport and waited until the staff announced the boarding call. Once aboard, the friendly staff welcomed each passenger with a smile. I opted for the on-board meal service while booking the ticket online. I had a hot cup of coffee before they served the breakfast.
This time I decided to taste the South Indian breakfast and therefore, had Masala Uttapam and Medu vada with Sambar. It was lip-smacking and delicious! The flight journey took approximately an
hour and ten minutes and by 9 am, I was out of the Jaipur Airport. Since my train, JP BKN Intercit, (12468) was at 3 pm, I decided to shop around Jaipur, had lunch at 12.30 pm and by 2 noon, I
was at the railway station in Jaipur.
The Jaipur railway station is very huge with 7 platforms. The station was always full at all times from the time I reached it. It is a little wonder that people consider it the busiest station of the city. The train started at 3.15 pm, a delay by 15 minutes. Seated in the third AC compartment, I looked out of the train and took in the beautiful scenery. Jaipur is indeed a beautiful city - a place to chill out as well as to know the culture of the people there.
Unlike the food on some of the routes, while travelling in trains, the meal on board JP BKN Intercit was tasty. I had snacks from the pantry at 5 pm. My co-passenger was very friendly and therefore, I passed my time chatting with her till the train reached Bikaner Junction. Exactly at 9.40 pm, it reached the station. Bidding good-bye to my co-passenger, I hailed a taxi and was on my way to Hotel Bhanwar Niwas. I was not tired at all, thanks to the luxurious and stress-free travel that I had on Spicejet Airlines and the intercity express train.
